ALM is composed of the municipalities of Angers, Avrillé, Beaucouzé, Béhuard, Bouchemaine, Briollay, Cantenay-Épinard, Écouflant, Écuillé, Feneu, Loire-Authion, Longuenée-en-Anjou, Montreuil-Juigné, Mûrs-Érigné, Le Plessis-Grammoire, Les Ponts-de-Cé, Rives-du-Loir-en-Anjou, Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou, Saint-Clément-de-la-Place, Sainte-Gemmes-sur-Loire, Saint-Lambert-la-Potherie, Saint-Léger-de-Linières, Saint-Martin-du-Fouilloux, Sarrigné, Savennières, Soulaines-sur-Aubance, Soulaire-et-Bourg, Trélazé, and Verrières-en-Anjou.

The flag of ALM (photo is white with the authority's logo.
The graphic element of the logo is based on the alliance of the orange and gray colors. The color scheme highlights (orange) innovation effort (gray), debunks tenacious and incomplete images, and firmly rests on a base made of balancing and calm intelligence to innovate, create, mix and move forward.

Orange, a warm color, is the symbol of energy. It is both the color of the sunset and of the fruit, rich in vitamin C, from which is was named. Orange, an optimist and joyful color, generates good mood. Active and toning, tonic and positive, orange represents movement and young energy. Orange is vitality, energy and life.
Gray is the color of slate, one of the keywords of the identity of the metropolis. Sober and elegant, gray is a "level-headed", wise and thoughtful color. Gray represents balance between black and white. "Gray matter" refers to the brain, and, by extension, to intelligence. Gray is the color, sharing its properties by mimetism: resistance, solidity and durability. Gray is the color of design. Gray is innovation.
The roundish shape of the graphic element evokes a pole [of development] through the disc shape and the white round. It is a totality that includes and contains. This is a feminine, comforting shape. This is balance, harmony and plenitude. This is also quality and durability through its perfection.

The orange color is specified as:
CMYK 0-60-100-0

RGB 238-127-0
The gray color is specified as:
