Description of the flag

The Bayswater Yacht Club, Bayonne, New Jersey, was listed in Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, 1912, as organised in 1899 and incorporated in 1908. Its Station is given as Foot of East 43d Street, Bayonne, N. J., and its home waters as New York Bay.

Corporations of New Jersey, 1914, page 66, has the additional information that at the time of incorporation the club was the Bayswater Fishing Club - Bayonne. It was only in 1909 that it became The Bayswater Yacht Club.

The pictured burgee is a circa 7:10 blue triangle, fimbriated white, bearing with a white lozenge bearing a red capital B.

The club is still listed in Lloyd's in 1917. On 1 December 1930 the Decatur Herald reports that the club's building was lost to the fire, but that the three attendants of the yacht club had survived.

I found no further mention, so it may be the club did not survive the loss of the club house.

Lloyd's of 1963 neither lists nor pictures a Bayswater Yacht Club.
