Current coat of arms

In the azure field above a silver jagged, bordered with silver and azure, a tip burdened with a green truncated point with a concave top, there is a silver eagle owl, with outstretched wings and golden eyes, because of its head and wings a golden bezant appears above and below each wing to the corresponding nearest edge of the shield, downward goes along a thin golden band; the eagle owl holds a golden key in its paws by the ring, located in a pole on top of the tip. The coat of arms of the Maiminsky District municipality, in accordance with the Methodological Recommendations for the development and use of official symbols of municipalities, approved by the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation on June 28, 2006, may reproduced with the status crown of the established sample. The municipal crown of the established sample for the municipal district is golden about five visible pointed teeth. The coat of arms can be reproduced both in the full version (full coat of arms - with the municipal crown), and in the shortened version (in the form of a coat of arms without a crown); both versions of the coat of arms are equal and have the same status. The composition of the coat of arms symbolizes the historical, natural, geographical and economic features of the Maiminsky district. It is based on the composition of the coat of arms approved by the decision of the Mayminsky District Council of Deputies of December 23, 2003. The originating at the base (at the end) of the coat of arms and the road (in the form of a truncated tip) to the horizon line symbolizes the Chuysky tract, and the green color emphasizes the picturesque nature of the region - mountains and meadows, and is also a symbol of the fertile lands of the region. The bird (from the order of owls, whose representatives are owls and eagle owls, as typical representatives of the wildlife of Altai and the Maiminsky district) holding a key symbolizes the guard, the holder of a symbolic key. The Golden Key is a symbol of the geographical location of the region in the north of the Altai Republic on the main road connecting the republic with the rest of Russia - it is a symbol of the entrance, opening, beginning of Gorny Altai, the fact that the Altai Republic geographically “opens” from the north precisely from the territory of the Maiminsky district. The mountain (in the coat of arms formed of two heraldic slopes-slopes) reflects the dominant mountain landscape of the area. The blue color of the mountain is a symbol of the pristine purity of the Altai Mountains. The white-blue border of the extremity symbolizes the Katun River, which carries its waters along the Chuysky tract. The circumference of the sun at the top of the coat of arms symbolizes eternity, warmth and light. The predominant colors of the coat of arms - white and blue - are elements (colors) of the flag of the Altai Republic, of which the Mayminsky district is an integral part. The colors used in the coat of arms in heraldry denote: - White color (silver) - a symbol of perfection, nobility and faith. Yellow color (gold) symbolizes wealth, justice, stability, respect, generosity. Blue, blue (azure) symbolizes exalted aspirations, sincerity and virtue; it is also the color of water bodies (rivers) and clear skies.Green color (green) - a symbol of spring, joy, hope, life, health, as well as a symbol of nature.
