Stadsdeel Zeeburg

Here is the flag of Stadsdeel (borough) Zeeburg in Amsterdam.
Valentin Poposki, 15 Aug 2007

It's a simple flag: hoistdiagonally divided brightblue over white; on white at the hoist the borough's logo (three red saltires [representing Amsterdam] placed on top of each other above a brightblue triskellion-like item); in bottom center small letters "Gemeente Amsterdam" above slightly larger letters "Stadsdeel Zeeburg", all red.
[text similar to the letters on the flag of Geuzenveld-Slotermeer].

Zeeburg is a Western city-borough of Amsterdam; I used to be a volunteer in a youth center, in charge of the bar - never knew why I wasn't fired being one of the bar's best customers :-) Instead, with typical Amsterdam logic, the center was closed. Zeeburg is one of fifteen neigbourhoods in Amsterdam. Zeeburg comprises the Indische Buurt, the Oostelijk Havengebied, the Zeeburgereiland and IJburg.
[IJburg will be the newest Amsterdam borough, having been voted upon by referendum (to everybody's surprise the Amsterdammers voted "YES")]
