Coat-of-arms adopted 12th March 1996
Local Council Zarzir (It appears as Zarzir in the local
authorities list and emblem publication and as Bet Zarzir in its
stationary) is situated in NW Jezreel Valley near Migdal HaEmeq, 10 km from Nazareth . Local Council since 1996. Pop
6,800 from five Beduine tribes.
No official flag. In case of need a logo on white is used. The municipal emblem will soon be published in the official gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut HaPirsumim).

Zarzir is the official name while the locals call it also Bet
Zarzir as appear also at the municipal website.
The name come from the bird Zarzir (starling) which were attracted to this area and its olive trees.
Still no flag at the city hall.....
