Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess of Gules and Argent a dragon´s head in counterchanged tinctures spitting fire, base wavy Azure.
Meaning:
In the area of the current municipality had been the ancestral seats of a few kins of noblemen. The municipal arms display as a representation of all those kins the family arms of the Teuffel of Pirkensee kin, who lived in Hochdorf. The dragon is a representation of the name giving devil (German: Teufel). The blue base wavy is a representation of the Naab River.
