Rohrbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale dancetty of Sable and Argent charged with a hops twig Vert having one leaf and one umbel.
Meaning:
The partition per pale wavy is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Rohrbach, known from their seals. They had been commissionaires of the Wittelsbach kin, were first mentioned in the 11th century and had been local rulers for more than 500 years. Their arms were adopted by their successors, the Barons of Koch, who especially promoted the local agriculture. The twig is symbolising the cultivation of Hops in the Hallertau area, Germany's biggest area for the cultivation of hops.
