Hohenkammer Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent an axe blade Gules, at sinister parted per pale urdy of Gules and Or.
Meaning:
The blades is reminding on the Lords of Kammer, local rulers from the 12th century until 1550. The pale urdy is reminding on the Barons of Haslang, later upgraded to counts, who succeeded the Kammer kin and ruled the area until 1819. Furthermore Georg Christoph of Haslang rebuilt the local castle, which had been destroyed during the 30-Years-War (1618 - 1648).
