The arms were granted on 14 September 1997, and show in red, rising from a silver base charged with a blue wavy bar, a silver castle with two corner towers and pointed roofs, connected by a wall pierced by an archway; the castle is surmounted by a silver horn. The official colours are red and white.

The castle and the waves on the emblem represent the moated castle, which was built between 1548 and 1552 under the mercenary leader Erasmus Teuffl and is one of the earliest examples of Renaissance castle construction in the region. The core of the complex was an elegant arcaded courtyard, but the castle nevertheless retained a fortress-like character thanks to bastions and a moat. In the 16th century the building was expanded under Archbishop Nikolaus Oláh by the master builder Geronimo Mariano. The project was finally completed at the beginning of the 17th century under Count Nikolaus Esterházy. (I didn't find any information about the horn)
The municipality's name in Croatian: Lakimpuh; in Hungarian: Lakompak
