It appears Burgos does not use a municipal flag.

The coat of arms was adopted in 1985 (though probably later, as the Government of the State's page contradicts it by saying it was adopted during the term of Municipal President Ricardo García Fernández, who served as this only between 1990 and 1992; the Municipal President at the time was José Ángel Adame Espinoza during 1984-1986). It was designed by Guadalupe Ramírez Mendoza. The border is scrolled, and reads FUNDADO 1749 V. BURGOS, TAM. at the top. The inner area is divided horizontally into four sections. At the top-left is the Our Lady of Loreto church. The top-right depicts the local school. The top-middle depicts an open book for culture. Under these sections are three triangles, with the middle depicting the gazebo of the principal plaza. On the left triangle, a monument. Under these sections is a depiction of the Burgos Hill and two clouds. Below this are three sections. To the left, a sorghum and corn plant are visible for agriculture. The middle depicts the "Los Chorros" waterfall, also a recreation park. To the right, a zebu and goat part of the cattle-raising industry.
