No Flag

It appears Lázaro Cárdenas does not use a municipal flag.

Coat of Arms

by Daniel Rentería, 22 June 2025

The painter Elio Carmichael, the designer of the state's coat of arms, also designed the municipal coat of arms in 1980 or 1981 as he painted a mural of the state. Over a yellow rectangle outlined, there are two circles, with a blue one inside a white one in the center; this is placed over two green rectangles, with a harpoon going through these shapes. The harpoon over a blue background signifies the fishing activities; the horns in white are for cattle-raising activities; and the green base is for agricultural activity.
