Offenbach Coat of Arms

Shield Gules an impending fess Argent superimposed by an annulet Or.
Meaning:
Until the beginning of the 18th century the village had no proper seals. Dfocuments were sealed by the reeve of the Landeck district. In 1709 the district was acquired by the Palatine Electorate. Probably since then there existed proper court seals, which are known by prints since 1753. They displayed the current arms on a shield crested by a coronet. The draft of the current arms was made by Otto Hupp (1928). The charge is considered to be a stylised bushel.
