Symbols of Yunclillos

The flag of Yunclillos (photo, photo, photo, photo) is prescribed by an Order issued on 9 March 1993 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 17 March 1993 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 20, pp. 1,378-1,379 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 1:2, vertically divided in the middle, at hoist, yellow, and at fly, green.

The coat of arms of Yunclillos is prescribed by an Order issued on 9 March 1993 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 17 March 1993 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 20, p. 1,379 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Vert a fountain argent, 2. Or a saltire gules. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.

The fountain alludes to the probable etymology of the town's name, which was recorded on Mozarab documents dated 1161 as Onclelos / Oclelos. This would be the diminutive form of fuente, "a fountain".
