Dormettingen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, two rakes Argent in saltire.
The arms are based on a seal of the village mayor from the 19th century displayed on an oval shield the rakes over a reversed plough share. The plough share was omitted in the arms in the 20th century. The tinctures red and white had been those of former the local rulers: the Hohenberg kin and Austria (Habsburg kin).

The arms were approved on 16 May 1950 by Minister of Interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. The banner was approved on 23 August 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 560/1983.
