The in-Shuck-ch are basically the N'kuktsa division of the Stl'atl'imx Nation, which is made up of three communities: Samahquam, Skatin (Skookumchuck) and Xa'xtsa (Douglas). Their traditional territory includes the upper Harrison Lake and lower Lillooet River drainages, and their communities are situated within the lower Lillooet River valley.
