Description of the flag

The flag of the Blaine County, Idaho, is white with seal-like emblem in the middle. It consist of two circles - the inner circle contains a mountain and sun. The outer circle contains the name "BLAINE COUNTY" divided by two Indian-like red drawings. Around the circle are arranged four elements representing the community - clockwise: a fish, sheep and cow, corn, and mining cart. The contest for the flag was organized 15 or 20 years ago. Only one flag was produced, and now no flag is used by the county. The only flag was almost destroyed by the harsh weather. Information and photo of flag thanks to Charlene Nelson, Operations Director, Blaine County Government.
