The
black-field flag with white slogans of the "Junud al-Sham" or "Jund al-Sham"
("Soldiers of the Levant"), consisting of the basic Muslim
proclamation-of-faith: "Shahada" on the top line, and its name "Junud al-Sham"
on the bottom line; is a group of Chechen and Lebanese Sunni mujahideen that
fought in the Syrian Civil War, c. 2016.
