The flag of the town of Hiraizumi is white with mark.
Tomislav Šipek, 20 October 2014
The town emblem was adopted on May 1st 1965
but there is no flag law.
The white flag has a maroon town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized katakana ヒラ Hira of Hiraizumi in a form
of a flying bird.
It represents a surge, a development, a welfare, an improvement,
a reconciliation, a cooperation and a solidarity of the town.
