It is a white banner with ratio 5.4. The coat of arms is slightly shifted to the top, displaying the martlets in red.

Arms

Worcester College
Coat of Arms:
Shield Argent, two chevronels Gules between six martlets Sable ordered 3:2:1.
Its predecessor, Gloucester College, had been established in 1298 for Benedictine monks in the province of Canterbury and had been supported by the Benedictine monasteries, who were entitled to send students and maintain camerae there. Many of the 15th century camerae still exist and it is often possible to tell to which monastery they belonged by the arms on the walls. At the dissolution the buildings were sold, but were repaired, and in 1560 became Gloucester Hall. Then in 1714 Gloucester Hall became Worcester College, which was founded by the benefaction of Sir Thomas Crookes, a Worcestershire baronet. The college arms are those of its founder, but there has been some controversy regarding the tinctures used in the arms, sometimes the martlets are displayed red, sometimes the background tincture of the shield is Or with black martlets. The chevronels in all versions are red.
A pink shield with black chevronels and martlets belongs to the college boat club.

Boat Club Crest

Worcester Boat Club crest is unusual as it’s the only one that displays two different blade patterns, as shown above. The coat of arms in the crest displays the college pattern but in the boat club colours pink and black.
