Brand Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a branch Argent burning proper and an axe Argent bladed Or in saltire.
Meaning:
The burning branch is a canting element representing Brand proper. The axe is a tool for forest clearance and is representing Fuhrmannsreuth. Both settlement cores had been established by forest clearance. The tinctures white and blue are those of the Wittelsbach kin, who ruled the Nordgau for centuries.
