Diespeck Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Argent, a demi-eagle Gules, armed and tongued Or with clover stems Or and couped per pale; at sinister Vert a baptismal font Argent.
The demi-eagle is a differentiation of the arms of Brandenburg. The margraves and their predecessors, the Burgraves of Nürnberg, ruled the area since the 14th century. The font is that one of the local parish church. Furthermore St. John the Baptist is the local paton saint.
