Seckach Coat of Arms

Shield Gules mantled Argent, in base a 5-spokes wheel Argent, above right a horn of an ibex Sable, above left a battle axe in pale Sable.
Meaning:
The ibex is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Seckach, local rulers in the 13th and 14th century. The axe is taken from the arms of the Lords of Stetten, which were entitled to encash the tenth (a 10% tax) in Zimmern. The wheel is derived from the arms of the Barons of Berlichingen. Its tinctures are alluding to theArchbishopric of Mainz, to which the region belonged until 1802.
