Or issuant from a Mount Vert a Gentian Azure slipped and leaved of the second and on a Chief Gules fimbriated Vert a Semi Sun issuant Argent.

The flower on the flag of Champoz is a gentian. The flag is debruised by the green stripe (device) alluding to the field (in French champ) of Champoz making the flag canting.
