The Gorodyshchens'ka Community (Городищенська міська громада)
is one of 26 communities in Cherkas'kyy Raion. It was created in 2020, and included the dissolved
Hlystunivs'ka Community which existed from 2018 until 2020. It has about 380 km² with about 23'200
inhabitants. It has one town, one urban settlement, and 8 villages. Its administrative seat is the
Town of Gorodyshche.
The Community hasn't adopted its own symbols yet (In such cases usually the symbols
of the administrative seat are in use, until the distinct symbols are adopted).

The flag was adopted by the Town Council on 18.9.2003. A cloth of horizontal stripes of crimson, yellow
and crimson, a blue wedge at the flagpole, in which a yellow lyre is depicted. The height of the wedge is
1/3 of the length of the flag.

The Coat of arms was adopted by the Town Council on 18.9.2003. The shield is crossed in an
inverted-torque-like (inverted-gable-like) manner with azure and silver, walled up with black seams. In
the upper part of the shield is a golden lyre with golden strings. In the lower part of the shield are two
red shields, which are inclined towards the middle of the shield and touch with their upper parts. The
right shield is burdened with a golden saber laid crosswise with the point down and a golden arrow with
the point up. The left shield is burdened with a golden oval shield, burdened in turn with a shortened
long red cross. The shield is topped with a silver city crown with three teeth and framed on the sides –
on the right with a sheaf of wheat stalks with ears and leaves of natural color, on the left a stem of
blooming mallow with red flowers. The stalks of wheat and mallow are entwined with a silver ribbon with an
inscription at the bottom in red letters "GORODYSHCHE".

The former Hlystunivs'ka Community had a coat of arms and a logo, but no flag, as far as I know.
