Bach Coat of Arms

Targe Gules parted by a pallet wavy Argent, at dexter a fir Argent on top of a mount of the same, at sinister an impending grapevine Argent with berries and leaf over a mount of the same, chief wavy parted per fess wavy of Azure and Argent.
The Perlbach, a creek, is flowing into the Donau River (Danube) in the village, represented by pallet (creek) and the white part of the chief (river). The fir is referring to the location in the Bavarian Forest, the grapes to viticulture. The tinctures are those of the Aunkofer family, patricians from Regensburg. Erhard Aunkofer settled down in the village in 1421 and built his ancestral seat Neu-Aunkofen in the village. Red and silver are also the tinctures of the Bishopric of Regensburg, as the village belonged partially to the Lordship of Donaustauf and the Lordship of Wörth, both belonging to the bishopric.
