Parkstein Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a boar salient Sable climbing a triplemount Vert ascending to dexter.
Meaning:
The market had been a condominion of the Margraves of Brandenburg and the Palatine Counts of Rhine. Arms and five seals since 1435 until the 18th century already displayed the current pattern. Since 1812, when the first coloured image had been painted, there was confusion about the tinctures. But the arms basically never changed. The boar probably is symbolising the riches of forests and game animals.

The banner is in use without approval. The arms were granted in 1435 by Margrave Friedrich of Brandenburg and Palatine Count Johann of Rhine.
