Shield Argent, issuant from base a mount Vert, charged with a Holstein cow passant proper, in chief a diamond Gules, charged with a heraldic fountain. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers village rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style)with inscription in black capitals "LAJEDO".

Lajedo Commune is one of the seven communes of Lajes das Flores Municipality; it had 93 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 6.7 km².
