Shield Azure a caduceus Or, superimposing on base a cogwheel Argent, and flanked by a lyre Argent garnished Gules at dexter and a grape bunch Or leafed Argent at sinister. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and long white scroll, as often used by united communes, reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE CANTANHEDE E POCARIÇA". 
Meaning:
Grape bunches appear on the arms of both predecessors of the commune. Caduceus and cogwheel are taken from the arms of the former Cantanhede Commune, the lyre from those of the former Pocariça Commune.

Cantanhede e Pocariça is one of the five communes of Cantanhede Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 8831 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 54,09 km².

Shield Or, a cogwheel Sable superimposed by a paly caduceus Azure, flanked by a grapevine Purpure leaved Vert at dexter and a pine cone Vert with branch at sinister, in chief two keys Gules crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and long white scroll with inscription in black upper case serifed letters "FREGUESIA DE CANTANHEDE". 
Meaning:
The keys are an attribute of St. Peter. The cogwheel is representing industry, the caduceus trade and commerce, the grapevine viticulture and the pine forestal riches.

Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, the local patron saint.
