Waltenhausen Banner

It is a black-yellow-blue vertical tricolour. The coat of arms is shifted towards the top (see left image above). On the reverse there is no coat of arms (see right image above).

Waltenhausen Coat of Arms

Shield Azure a fleur-de-lis Or, base Argent a bend Sable charged with three balls Or.
Meaning:
The balls on a bend are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Werdnau, local rulers since 1423. The village was acquired by the Fugger kin in 1541, represented in the arms by the fleur-de-lis. The family ruled the village until 1806 and established a hospital in 1548.
