Röfingen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter bendy sinister of six of Argent and Gules over all a pale Or, at sinister Gules a horse head Argent, base paly of seven of Or and Sable.
Meaning:
The dexter half displays the arms of the Margraviate of Burgau, to which the municipality historically belonged. The horse head (German: Rosshaupt) is canting and representing the former municipality of Rosshaupten, which merged with Röfingen in 1978. The horse is also an attribute of St. Leonard, patron saint of Rosshaupten. The base, blasoned as three black pales on a golden shield, displays the arms of the Argon kin and is also representing other kins having possessions in the villages.
