Landensberg Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Azure, above a rose Argent seeded and barbed Or, beneath the eradicated stomp of a tree Or; at sinister a griffin rampant Azure armed Or. The seal has an additional black circumscription "Bayern" (above) "Gemeinde Landensberg" (below), separated by a pair of asterixes.
Meaning:
The stomp is alluding to forest clearance. The village belonged to the Lordship of Konzenberg between the 15th and 17th century. The rose is taken from the arms of the Barons of Seida and Landensberg. That family of commissionaires was based in Burgau.
