Geiselbach Coat of Arms

Shield Gules an intial "A" Or, flanked by three 6-point stars Argent ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The initial had been the symbol of Seligenstadt Abbey, to which the village belonged since around 1300. The abbey had been manorial lord and had the low level cognisance in the three villages Geiselbach, Hofstädten and Omersbach, represented by the stars. Red and white had been the tinctures of the Archbishopric of Mainz, which ruled the area until 1803.
