Since 1. January 2003 the commune of Maracon includes the former commune of La Rogivue.
The new arms and flag have been adopted already in December 2001. The new design takes over the elements of both former flags. The semi-lion rampant of Maracon has kept its size and place but the bend has been reduced to the lower left quarter to leave place for the two bends wavy of La Rogivue in the lower right quarter.

Per fess: 1. Or, issuant semi-Lion rampant Gules; 2. Gules, a Bend Or fimbriated Gules and Argent.
Željko Heimer, 4 October 1999

The lower fess could be blazoned "Gules, a Bend Or, cotised argent". It makes sense, though my impression is that cotises are much narrower than shown in the Maracon banner.
