Description of the flag

The Town of Georgina does not have a Coat of Arms, however, we do have a Town logo, which is present on all Town paraphernalia and our flag; The Town of Georgina is located on the south shores of Lake Simcoe and is comprised of five major communities - those being Keswick, Jackson's Point, Sutton, Pefferlaw and Udora. The Town logo depicts trees and water, which are major attributes to our communities.

The flag is the basic logo on a white background.

The flag of the Town of Georgina, Ontario, is white with town logo on it and "TOWN OF / GEORGINA" below. Photo of the flag thanks to Sharon LeBlanc, Executive Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer.

The town:
"Georgina (Canada 2006 Census population 42,346) is a town in south-central Ontario, and the northernmost municipality in the Regional Municipality of York. It forms part of the northern boundary of the Greater Toronto Area and is situated on the southern shores of Lake Simcoe. Although incorporated as a town, it operates as a township, in which dispersed communities share a common administrative council. The largest communities are Keswick, Sutton and Jackson's Point; smaller communities include Pefferlaw, Port Bolster, Udora and Willow Beach. The town was incorporated in 1986 and was formed by the merger of the Village of Sutton, the Township of Georgina and the Township of North Gwillimbury in 1971, but the area's history dates back to the 18th century." - from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgina,_Ontario.
