Belazaima do Chão, Castanheira do Vouga e Agadão is one of the seven communes of Sabugal Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 1415 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 88,1 km².

Shield Gules, an eradicated tree Or, in chief a pair of keys in saltire, one of them Or the other Argent, flanked by two oranges Proper (Tawny leaved Vert). Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "" "BELAZAIMA DO CHÃO".
Meaning:
The crossed keys are an attribute of St. Peter, the local patron saint.

Shield Vert a fountain, in chief a perfume bottle Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters  "AGADÃO".
Meaning:
The heraldic fountain in the arms, thus canting, stands for the local namesake Agadão River. The bottle is an attribute of St. Mary Magdalen, the local patron saint.
