Lichtentanne Coat of Arms

Shield Argent with base Vert, an impending fir Vert.
Meaning:
The fir (German: Tanne)is canting. The pattern changed in details. Other versions show the tree on the base with black trunk without roots. A village seal from around 1900 clarifies the name of the village, showing the fir in centre, a radiant sun issuant from dexter representing light and a distaff at sinister.
