In March 2008 township celebrates its centennial and adopted centennial flag, which can be seen here: cgcentennial.typepad.com/cedar_grove_centennial/2008/03/index.html.

"Members of the Centennial Committee presented the Centennial Flag to the Cedar Grove Town Council at the March 3rd Council Meeting. The following Saturday, several members of the Committee and the members of the Town Council braved the rainy weather and raised the Centennial Flag. Special thanks to Joe Vallone for obtaining the Centennial Flag which was donated to the town as well as the four United States flags in use between 1908 and today. Joe Vallone and Tom Wilson raise the flag for the first time."
