Termas de São Vicente is one of the five communes of Penafiel Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had altogether 4905  inhabitants in 2011 and covers 10,0 km².

Shield Argent, an eradicated pine tree Vert, flanked by two ravens respectant Sable, in chief a fountain Sable pouring water Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PINHEIRO - PENAFIEL".
Meaning:
The fountain is probably Valga Fountain. The ravens are attributes of St. Vincent, the local patron saint and name giver of the newly formed commune.

Shield Azure two embattled walls Argent masoned Sable in fess, on central chief point a winged hand Or holding a sword flamant Argent in bend sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PAREDES - PENAFIEL".
Meaning:
The arms are canting. Sword and hand are an attribute of St. Michael, local patron saint and somehow name giver of the commune. The name means "St. Michael of (the) walls". Thus the walls are canting elements.
