Population (1 Jan 2003): 23.819; area: 13,47 km²; settlements: Sliedrecht (seat).
Flagdescription: yellow, with in the center a black Burgundian cross.
This flag was adopted 11 Aug 1958 by municipal resolution. The flag-image is adentical to the municipal arms.

[Sliedrecht Coat of Arms] from the Sliedrecht municipal website.

Granted 24 Jul 1816. At first the cross was described as a Burgundian cross. Later on the description was changed to an engrailed cross. The crown was added in 1961.
