Gundelsheim Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Sable a dmi-escarbuncle Or, beneath Or a demi-millwheel Sable.
The tinctures are those of the Bishopric of Bamberg, to which the village historically belonged. The escarbuncle is an attribute of St. Theodor, patron saint of the namesake monastery in Bamberg. The monastery owned the most estates and farms in the village. The millwheel is alluding to the old mill of Leitenbach.
