The logo of Batiscan was designed in April 1997 by Lyne Massicotte, during the campaign against the closure of the village school. As a reference to the protest movement, the themes expressed in the logo were dynamism and solidarity.

The three yellow-blue-yellow horizontal lines and their shade gradient symbolize joy of living in Batiscan under the sun.
Blue is the color of the water of river St. Lawrence.
Yellow is the color of the reverberation of sun rays into the river.
Letter "i" represents an inhabitant of Batiscan, surrounded by letters "s", representing all the other inhabitants and solidarity.
