Dogern Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent, a fir Vert on base of the same, at sinister Azure a waxing monn crescent Or with face.
Meaning:
Local seals displayed the arms of Baden until the middle of the 19th century. At the end of the century the first seals, displaying a crescent of unknown origin, perhaps a local symbol, appeared. The fir is alluding to the Counts of Hauenstein, former rulers.
