Kirchenpingarten Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess; above a demi-lion issuant rampant Or, crowned, armed and tongued Gules, holding a beehive Or by his forepaws; beneath Argent a fess Azure, charged with four bees proper.
Meaning:
The beehive is a canting element, as the name of the municipality means something like "parish of the bees' garden". The lion is symbolising that the municipality historically belonged to the Oberpfalz (Upper Palatinate). The blue fess is taken from the arms of the Margraves of Leuchtenberg, who had been lieges of Lienlas until 1646. The bees are also canting. Their number is symbolising the former municipalities Kirchenpingarten proper, Lienlas, Reislas and Tressau, which merged in 1972. Please note that blason says the bees would be Argent.
