Description of the flag

The flag is composed of the following way: blue represents the coasts abundant in wealth of the sea and tourist development. Yellow represents the wealth that keeps their lands and their people. Green represents the mountains located to the south of the municipality, potentialities in the agricultural and tourism sector. White triangle located on the left side, represents the purity and firmness of the Caquetíos. Seven stars represent the three parishes: Bariro, Borojó, Capatárida, Seque, Zazárida, and Guajiro.
