Oregon has adopted a "clean marina" program (www.oregon.gov/OSMB/Clean/about_us.shtml/):
"The Oregon Clean Marina program is a voluntary program [which] works to protect and improve local water quality by promoting the usage of environmentally sensitive practices at marinas. The program provides the opportunity for marinas, boatyards, yacht clubs, and floating home moorages to receive recognition for helping to establish and promote a cleaner marine environment for Oregon.

If a facility is in compliance with existing environmental regulations and uses a high percentage of the recommended best management practices, it can be designated as an Oregon Clean Marina. Such certified marinas are authorized to fly the Clean Marina flag and use the logo in their advertising. (...)

The program also provides information to marine facility managers on how to eliminate or reduce the input of polluting materials, such as oil, paint, cleaning chemicals, sewage, fish waste, and trash, into the environment."

See this pdf file (last page, 8 of 8) for an uncoloured drawing of the flag: www.oregon.gov/OSMB/Clean/news/CleanMarinaNewsletterSpring2008.pdf

Medium blue rectangle (standing up, with rounded corners) bearing composite and stylized image, in light and medium blue, of a mooring platform and poles, reeds, and a wave separating them from a fish in motion. White letters in special font "OREGON" above the logo and "CLEAN / MARINA" below it, the second word the most prominent.

A good colour photo may be seen here, page 6 of 7 (pdf file): www.coosbayyachtclub.org/Pdf/2008Jan_Yak.pdf. To the left and right of the logo are placed thin white waves which together with the one in the logo suggest one long, continuous wave.

The first flag was awarded 1 Jun 2006 to Rocky Pointe Marina and Boatyard: www.oregon.gov/OSMB/Clean/news/CleanMarinaFall2006.pdf
