The Pennsylvania State Capitol Police is a state law enforcement agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Established in 1895, the Capitol Police are responsible for providing law enforcement, security, and parking enforcement for the State Capitol Complex in the state capital of Harrisburg, as well as certain Pennsylvania government buildings in the cities of Philadelphia and Scranton.

The flag of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Police can be seen in this photograph. The flag features the department's keystone-shaped uniform shoulder patch centered on a red field. The patch is blue, outlined in yellow, with an image of the State Capitol building in the center. On red-outlined yellow banners above and below the building image are the words "CAPITOL" above and "POLICE" below. The year "1895" appears in red on either side of the Capitol building, and the word "PENNSYLVANIA" was in white capital letters across the top of the keystone-shaped patch.
