Description of the flag

In the Annual Town Election held on March 8, 2022, Gilford NH voted in favor of an article adopting the Guilford Courthouse Flag as its first official flag. Article 26 on the ballot was as follows:
"Shall the Town vote to adopt the Guilford Courthouse Flag as the official Town Flag base upon its traditional and long-standing status as the unofficial Town Flag; in recognition of its historical significance as the banner flown during the Revolutionary War Battle of Guilford Courthouse, (March 15, 1781); whereupon a battle-weary Lieutenant Lemuel Mason put forth the proposed name for the new Town of Gilford, New Hampshire, (circa 1812), as a testament of said battle in which he fought with honor and distinction?"

2017 proposal

This proposal is nicknamed "The Tri-Force". Green is for spruce forests, white snowy mountains, blue for Lake Winnipesaukee and sailing, finally gold for labor and agriculture. Designer of this proposal is Darren Brown and was created probably in 2017. Brown's real goal was simply for Gilford to have an official flag, and this proposal stemmed from the fact that he discovered that the Courthouse flag wasn't official.

It seems this today has little more status than a proposed flag, especially after it lost the vote for official status to the Guilford Courthouse flag. There seems to be no real drive for this flag's use as of now.
