The seal is a golden ring with a blue outline. The city name and the founding year which are split by two dots. In the center is a gradient disk which starts with yellow and transitions to blue. the main centerpiece of the seal is a Monarch Butterfly. This is because the city name, Papillion is French for Butterfly. The community was named this due to a large population of butterflies in the area the city lies in. The Butterfly, along with the most of the seal is sharply beveled with shadows underneath.
