Description of the flag

The probably flag of Mariposa County, as shown on this individual website, appears to display on a California-style flag (white over red stripe) an image of a gold prospector before a scene of Yosemite Halfdome.

Mariposa County lies in the Yosemite region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.  The Mariposa County website shows a county seal, very different from the image on the flag.
