Northern Upper Nile State

Northern Upper Nile State is one of the few short-lived states established in January 2017 and disestablished on 22 February 2020. I could not find an image of its flag.

It appears Northern Upper Nile State is another state with a uniquely created emblem for its purposes as a state. Over a blue circle outlined in black, a black African shield shape is centered upon it. Over it, symbols of the economy are found: an oil derrick with flame rising for the petroleum industry, two crossed ears of sorghum underneath; and finally, basic tools which are a spear and axe crossed together behind the derrick. Underneath the shield shape, a ribbon in white outlined in black reads NORTHERN UPPER NILE STATE. Underneath the ribbon, its capital is read in white: RENK.
